Always great working with Karma!
One of the most unique skateboard designs ever for one of the most unique skaters ever! And yes, this ones mine.
24×36 poster I did for my Moms charity center. Sometimes you gotta do the charity thing.
I’ve done many projects for and with celebrities, but this one is special. It is endorsed by a Laker. Not only is it a Laker, but a Laker that was part of the Show Time era! Big Game James Worthy!
Ali may be the daughter of Brian Auger, but once you hear her she’s her own musician!
I was thinking about some of the automotive designs that stood the test of time. Being a highly competitive genre it’s amazing that some car companies can get away with minimal changes to their cars. The leaders in this are German and European cars.
The BMW hasn’t lost it’s double grille, Audi hasn’t lost it’s understated lines. Mercedes hasn’t lost it’s appeal. There are many other examples, but what rarely comes up is my personal favorite car, an American car built in the early 60’s. This car is the Ford GT-40.
Just speaking on design alone, this car is absolutely amazing. You don’t have to love it, but you have to respect it. There have been some cars to come close, but this design seems to command a certain 4 time Ferrari beating respect.
Maybe the Viper can be seen as something close, but the sheer rawness of the GT-40 clearly puts it to the top of my list as one of the best American race car designs. Maybe ALL designs. Yes, I know it had some outside help in its design, but who it was designed for is just as important.
World reknowned organist Brian Auger commissioned me to put together a double CD package
and design for his first group which was started in the 60’s.
